Las Ramblas
One of the world's most attractive avenues, Las Ramblas is the first place any visitor to Barcelona should head for. Animated day and night, it always has something worth seeing, even if it is just the passers-by.
How to arrive? Enjoy a nice walk on carrer Sant Pau during 850 meters.

Rambla del Raval
La Rambla del Raval is a wide boulevard located in the Raval neighborhood, in Barcelona. It was renewed on September 21, 2000 and has a length of 317 meters, beginning at Hospital Street and ending at Sant Pau Street.
The huge (7 meters long) statue of El Gato de Botero stands out. We recommend a visit to the 360º terrace bar on the 11th floor of the Barcelona Raval hotel from where there is a spectacular view.

Richard Meier's constructed the ice-white Modernist style Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona. The front slopes are popular with skateboarders. The permanent collection dates from the mid-20th century onward. There are three periods of modern art represented: the first one covers the forties to the sixties; the second spans the sixties and seventies; the third period is contemporary.

Beach and ocean front
The curving waterfront strip is 7 kms long, extends up the coast from Barceloneta, past the Port Olimpic to Poble Nou, Diagonal Mar and the Parc de Forum. There are eight sections of beach with golden sand cleaned daily. It is ideal for a lengthy stroll.
Enjoy the freedom and pleasure of riding a bike at the Ocean front. All the way there is flat bike lane. Rent bikes by the apartments, pass the Maritim museum, Columbus monument, Port Vell and arrive in 11 minutes to Sant Sebastia Beach in La Barceloneta.
Bus D20 stop is on the side of our building, to go to the beach pick it up on the other side of Avinguda Paral.lel.

Casa Milà was the last private residence designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí and was built between 1906 and 1912. Popularly known as La Pedrera (The Stone Quarry), referring to its unconventional and rough appearance.

Poble Espanyol
Poble Espanyol or Spanish Village with 120 buildings represents architecture from across Spain, from Moorish Andalusia to the rugged Basque country, in styles from the 12th to the 19th centuries. The complex was designed for the 1929 exhibition and has since become a leisure centre and a "city of artisans", where you can see glassmakers, weavers, potters and ironmongers. Its restaurants are popular in the evenings, and night spots include the Tablao de Carmen, with a flamenco show and a club.

Park Güell
The Park Güell is a public park system composed of gardens and architectonic elements located on Carmel Hill. Eusebi Güell assigned the design of the park to Antoni Gaudí. How do I get to Park Güell from our apartment?
Take L3 to Vallcarca metro stop and then walk about 15 minutes. In case you prefer to walk less, then thake L3 to either Plaça Catalunya or Gran de Gràcia - Lesseps metro stop and then change to Bus 24 that takes you directly to the entrance of the Park.

Camp Nou
With a seating capacity of 99,354 it is the largest stadium in Europe.

Parc de Joan Miró
Integrated into the urban grid designed by Ildefons Cerdà, Joan Miró Park lies on the site of the city's former abattoir, an area equivalent to four Eixample blocks. Jardins de Mossen Costa i Llobera
These are one of Europe's biggest gardens specialising cacti and succulent plants. Facing the sea and sheltered by Montjuïc, they are located on a privileged mirador of the city’s coastline and port.
Schedule: open every day at 10 am and closing time depends on the solar time, closed after dark in the evenings.
How to arrive? It is located after Mirador Poble Sec. Walking one and half kilometer if you like going up the hills and don´t mind lots stairs or take the funicular de Montjuic at Paral.lel metro station. Use regular metro ticket.

Montjuic Castle
Montjuïc Castle is an old military fortress, with roots dating back from 1640. Built on top of Montjuïc hill, visitors can enjoy from the parade ground terrace superb 360º views of Barcelona and its surroundings.
How to arrive? With the Funicular (Rack train) and the Teleferic (Cable car) de Montjuic you can get inside the Montjuïc Castle. The walk from the Funicular station takes about 20 to 25 minutes. It is constantly uphill, with quite steep slopes at some points. The route crosses various gardens.

Joan Miro Foundation
The Fundació Joan Miró is a remarkable space created by Joan Miró himself with the idea of making art accessible to all. The collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, and works on paper displayed at the Fundació is one of the most comprehensive selections of Miró’s art, offering a thorough overview of all the stages of his life and career.

Maritim Museum Reials Drassanes
The Maritime Museum of Barcelona is located in the building of Drassanes Reials de Barcelona, the royal arsenal of Barcelona, dedicated to shipbuilding between the thirteenth century and eighteenth century.
The first and third Sunday of the month, you can visit the gardens of Baluard and Portal de Santa Madrona, the only gate that remains of the medieval walls of the city is in the Paral.lel Avenue.

Sant Pau del Camp
The church of Sant Pau del Camp (Saint Paul of the countryside) is the oldest church in Barcelona. While the monastery now sits within El Raval, it once sat outside the city; its rural location gave the church its name. Construction began late in the ninth century, to replace a previous church destroyed by Muslim invaders in 985.
How to arrive? Walk 180 meters in Sant Pau street.

Palau de la Música Catalana
Barcelona's Modernista movement reached its aesthetic culmination in this magnificent concert hall (1905-8), designed by renowned architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. The lavish façade, ringed by mosaic pillars and brick arches, just hints at what awaits within. Domènech's "garden of music" (as he called it) unfolds beyond the front doors, with each surface of the ornate foyer, from pillars to banisters, emblazoned with a flower motif. The concert hall is a celebration of natural light and forms, climaxing in a stained-glass, golden orb skylight that showers the hall with sunlight.

Santa Maria del Mar church
The spacious, breathtaking interior of this 14th century chrch, designed by architect Berenguer de Montagut, is the city's premier example of the austere Catalan Gothic style.
